This week in Disney news

  • Disney Park Pass reservation system opens June 22nd to guests with Disney resort hotel reservations and valid theme park tickets. You can read everything Disney put out about this system here
    • System opens to Annual Passholders on June 26th
    • System opens to other existing ticket holders on June 28th
  • Packages for 2021 will be released by June 28th!!
    • No dining packages available at the moment, but park hoppers will be sold as an option (could always be revoked if necessary per CDC recommendations) 
  • New ticket purchases for 2020 will open as space allows “later this summer”
  • Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will begin July 15th
    • Food and Wine usually includes “Eat to the Beat Concert Series,” but that will be absent from the festival to keep to social distancing regulations. Read everything we know so far about this festival here
  • Sadly, this year’s Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties are all cancelled
  • H20 Glow Nights at Typhoon Lagoon are also cancelled for the rest of 2020
    • Refunds for guests who have purchased tickets already will be refunded 
    • No decision on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has been made yet.
  • Dining reservations are not yet open for in parks yet, but a few Disney Springs and Resort restaurants have the availability

  • Award Winning bakery Gideon’s Bakehouse will open a location in Disney Springs. Their cookies look absolutely amazing!  See more info here
