Fun Runs in Walt Disney World

With Marathon Weekend behind us, and Princess Weekend quickly approaching, the runDisney 2020 season is fully underway!!

Did you know that you can participate in a race at some of the resorts just about any week of the year?? I am so excited to participate in one (maybe two if I get lucky with timing!) this fall! I have not participated in one myself yet, but here is what I was able to find on them.

  • You do not have to be staying at the resort, or even on property, to participate
  • Registration is day of, between 30 and 60 minutes before the race starts
  • Each race is $15+tax and all ages are welcome! Three and under are free
  • Parking is free if you are only going to participate in one of the races
  • You are welcome to walk these “runs”

You can’t find any information on any of these runs on runDisney’s official website, so all this information is off of other blogs and Disney news sites.

If you are interested in participating in a fun run at any of the resorts, I would call the resort the week before or as soon as you arrive in WDW to double check all details and possibly pre-register.  As with anything else, specifics are always subject to change.

Below are the current runs and the info I was able to find on them
